Terms of Use
Last Updated: October 2026
1. Agreement
This website (www.almond.business) is operated by Almond Business, LLC, a Texas limited liability company, also known as Almond Business Company and Almond Business Co. ("Almond").
By using this site, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, don't use the site.
All obligations here belong to the company alone. No owner, officer, employee, or contractor of Almond is personally liable for anything arising from this site.
2. Information Only
This site describes what Almond does. It isn't legal, tax, accounting, or financial advice, and it isn't a professional opinion on your situation.
Nothing here creates a working relationship. Almond's obligations to a client begin only under a signed agreement.
3. Contacting Almond
Filling out the contact form or sending an email doesn't create a client relationship, doesn't obligate Almond to respond, and doesn't bind either side.
Anything you send before a signed agreement is not confidential. Don't send sensitive or proprietary information through this site.
Engagement models described here are examples, not an offer and not contract terms.
4. Content and Availability
Almond tries to keep the site accurate but doesn't guarantee it's complete, current, or error-free. Content can change or disappear at any time.
The site runs on Squarespace and email runs on Google. Almond doesn't control either one and isn't responsible for how they perform.
Links to other sites, including LinkedIn and Google Maps, are for convenience. Almond isn't responsible for them.
5. Using the Site
The content on this site — writing, graphics, logos, and the way it's put together — belongs to Almond or its licensors. You can read it and print it for yourself. You can't copy, republish, scrape, or build on it without written permission.
"Almond Business Company," "Almond Business Co.," and the almond logo are trademarks of Almond Business, LLC.
Don't use the site for anything illegal, don't try to break into it, don't scrape it, and don't use the contact form to send spam or false information.
6. No Warranties, Limited Liability
THE SITE IS PROVIDED "AS IS," WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND. ALMOND DOESN'T GUARANTEE IT WILL BE AVAILABLE, SECURE, OR ERROR-FREE.
ALMOND IS NOT LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES, LOST PROFITS, LOST DATA, OR BUSINESS INTERRUPTION ARISING FROM THIS SITE.
ALMOND'S TOTAL LIABILITY RELATED TO THIS SITE WILL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT, IF ANY, YOU PAID TO ACCESS IT.
This doesn't apply where the law doesn't allow it, and it doesn't govern a signed engagement agreement — that agreement has its own terms.
You agree to cover Almond's costs, including attorneys' fees, for any claim arising from your use of the site or your violation of these Terms or the law.
7. Disputes
Talk first. Before filing anything, contact Almond through the site and try to resolve it informally for thirty days.
Then arbitration. Any unresolved dispute goes to binding arbitration with the American Arbitration Association, one arbitrator, in Harris County, Texas — not to court.
Individually only. No class actions, no consolidated claims.
One year. Any claim must be filed within one year of when it arises.
Exceptions. Either side can use small claims court, or go to court to protect intellectual property.
Texas law governs. For anything not arbitrated, venue is Harris County, Texas.
8. General
The Privacy Notice is part of these Terms.
Almond can update these Terms at any time; continued use means you accept the update.
If one provision doesn't hold up, the rest still stands.
These Terms plus the Privacy Notice are the whole agreement about using this site. They don't change any signed engagement agreement.
